I'd like to create my own filled pattern... how do i do that? is there a software I d need to download to create a pattern and set it in either model or draft type.. then save it in .pad file.
Is there any software I can use?

One way is to create the new pattern in AutoCAD (make sure the scale is large).
Save the File.
Import into Revit.
Explode the import.
Save as a new Revit project.
In new projects, use "Transfer Project Standards" (File containing pattern must be opened).
Push button that says "Check None"
Place check next to "Fill Patterns"
Voila!
