Is there anyway to create a detail view without having to draw a section in your model? I have a few diagrams that are not to scale, nor is there anywhere to take a section of them. Is there anyway to duplicate a detail view and not have a detail section tag in plan or elevation? If I just duplicate an existing detail through the project browser it adds another section tag to the plan. Is the best way to create a legend? Not a detail?

If it's a model detail view then you can duplicate the view then cick on the new symbol where it is shown and hide it in view. If it is just linework then it should be a drafting view and that doesn't need to be cut or called out from anywhere.
