Hello there,

I am having issues with my detail section tags.  I have a detail section tag in front elevation and our font, lineweight works fine.  But that SAME detail tag in a side view does not have the correct font and lineweights.  Why is this?  I cannot find where to do this?

ANy ideas?  Thanks

Lorne

PS-issue is attached.

Right click the  Front elevation view and select "Create View Template from View" and then right click your Section View "Apply View Template" . See if that works.

No such luck.

If you take a look at that image.  There's another front view of a detail section and that is label 18 and correct font.  the incorrect detail tag is in that same view.

Any other ideas?

You will need to modify the Callout tag if you want it to match. There is two different Tag Families. One for the Section and one for the Callout. Right click the view and click Edit/New and you will see the two different parameter lines. One for Section Tag and one for Callout tag.

I must be missing the question because in the view on the left I see a Detail Section symbol Crying#1Shadey and a Detail Callout symbol (#17). These are two different symbols. The view on the right contains the intersecting view of the #17 callout. Now if I am understanding your question, you are asking why the #17 on the left doesn't match the #17 on the right. If so then check out my first post. If not then please explain further.

Hey Grimes,

First off, no sorry, you understood me perfectly.  I accidentally hit refresh and it re-posted my question.  Disregard that second post.

As for my issue, that fixed it Smile  I didn't realize that that was a callout tag not a section tag. I edited the Callout Head family and now it's fixed.  Thanks so much,

Lorne
