I am designing a series of wall panel families. There a few different types of panels with a variety of studs and fitting that can all be pieced togethor within the project. Many of the families contain hosted familys like bolts and screws, etc... I would like to beable to select all the panel families after they have been placed and generate a parts list with quantities of each family as well as the hosted families. Is this possible? If so, can someone point me to some instructions? Thanks, Matt

In order for sub-families to be scheduled and therefore counted, they have to be set to shared. You will need to edit each family, then under settings - categories and parameters, set the shared swith, then load into the host family.
