Hi, i'm all new here, gotta question i wanna ask.

I have created mysely a ceiling mounted 100 dia downlighter with 230 watt, 500 lumens, which i've used in my project. Iv'e set the time to night for better rendering quality with the lights on. somehow the"white" light from the light fitting does not "shatter" around the light fitting, only the room apears lightened and there is a funny big lightened area in the middle of the room as you can see in the attached pic. what's causing this and what can I do to achieve what I whant?

Hi, if you use "Incandescent Lamp" you must use this formula "100 Watts = 1700 Lumens", but if you use "Fluorescent Lamp" you must use "100 Watts = 6000 Lumens", so...

I FINALLY GOT IT RIGHT!!! it is all in what materials you use for the light fitting. my light fitting is concisting of a carcase and glass light. the carecase material is a pure white colour with a core central "BULB" (the glass material) as a special material (BMCD2AR3 library), lamp shade, white on (or you can choose whatever color you want, as long as its marked "on" at the back).
