Hey, I work in a company where we print to paper size A1 and A3. Is there a way to create a viewport title where there are two scales? ie if the scale is 1:500, I need it to say 1:500 (A1) 1:1000 (A3). If the scale changes, I need to update the second scale ie 1:250, 1:500. I need it to show up like my picture (the viewport title is setup so instead of having a scale label, i wrote the scale annotation underneath). Thank you in advance for your help

What do you do in CAD? - I doubt you do anything because I bet you scale the print - not the view!

In REVIT,

- you can do the same thing you did in CAD

- you can set up duplicate views that are scaled correctly and placed on the correct sheets.  VERY HARD to manage but your text will be sized so that you read it and you will be able to correct all of the text overlapping etc that happens when you re-scale the view.

I have the same problem as Timbo (see his thread).

We set all our sheets up at A1 size, and print at 50% if we want it A3 size. We want to have an automatically updating field that calculates what that scale would be at A3 (ie: A1 scale x 2). Does anyone have any ideas as to how to do this? Im guessing I will need to set up a parameter in the titleblock family but my brain is too small to work out how to do it at present...

Thanks in advance!

Ollie
