Hi, does any one know if revit 2008 is compatible with piranesi 5?? I've recently discovered piranesi and was impressed with what it does, but right now 95% of my work is in revit. It whouldn't really be worth the buy unless the two were compatible without the need for a third program. Does anyone know?

They are "compatible" but you do need another application to complete the process. I have 3ds max so I export from Revit to max, do what I need to and if I have to use Piranesi I then export out of max to a .3ds file. Once I have a .3ds file I will then open that in Vedute (included w/ Piranesi) and use vedute to create the .epx file. You can also go from Revit to Sketchup to Piranesi. You have to export the 3d model because Piranesi recognizes depth information as it is a 3d paint program and not just a 2d touch up program. HTH
