I need to create a new hatch pattern with the normal earth hatch rotated 45. How would I go about doing that?

You can - search this site with keyword "earth",
- open the revit.pat file with a text editor and follow its instructions on how to create a pattern
- use HatchKit www.hatchkit.com.au
Try the suggestions in order (the first provides a 45 deg earth drafting pattern). Hugh Adamson www.cadro.com.au
