I am working on a residential project and the walls loaded are commercial oriented.  is there a way to load typical residential wall types?

If you have a template or another project that you want to load them from you can either use the "transfer project standards" feature or just copy/paste the walls from the other project. Or you could just modify the existing commercial wall types to a residential structure.

Because walls are system families, the cannot be stored in a library style environment, they have to be created either on a project to project basis or created in a  template.
