I have a basic roof with somewhat complex geometry to form crickets.  I wanted to add a surface pattern to indicate ballast locations vs fully adhered.  But the cricketed roof does not show it on all the planes?  All the roofs geometry in the attached is the ballasted level of the roof.Is there a fix?  THANKS

Are you using your own hatch pattern? If not, you have options with your Fill Pattern-New Pattern to Orient to view, Keep readable or Align with element. You'll find them in Orientation in Host Layers.

It is a standard gravel hatch, Drafting based.  I switched it to "keep readable" but it did not change my results.  Also the hatch pattern does note show in plan view or when zoomed in or out.  I tried a model based hatch as well.I am suspecting it's because the 4 sided planes have a slight warp to them.  When I broke the slab apart, and it's geometry reverted to triangle planes, the hatch showed up.  I heard 2009 supports warped slabs.  maybe this will rectify the anomaly?
