I'm using MEP '08 and every time I rotate something in a section view it sends it out hundreds of feet somewhere else. Sometimes I find it and sometimes I don't. Why does it do this and how do I fix it?

I'm unsure if you'll get much support in here for MEP as its still pretty early in its development.  I haven't actually used it, but the first thing I'd check would be the origin point of the family and extents.  See what reference planes are defining origin and make sure they are constrain to the reference level.

Alternative check out AUGI as you may find some more MEP users there.

HTH.
