Can a shared parameter or field be a calculated value?

Here's what I want to do:  On every title block and on our sheet index we need a sheet count number and a NAVFAC number which is based off of the sheet count number (NAVFAC# = Sheet count number +10).  I am able to create a field in the sheet index schedule that calculates this so that I don't have to type both numbers for all sheets.  But these numbers also appear on the title block which means that they have to be shared parameters created in the family.  How can I create a parameter in the family that is also a caculated value?

Anyone have any ideas?

In the family couldn't you just have 2 shared parameters and use the Formula column in Family Types to add your calculation?  Assuming you are using a Number field and not Text this should work.

Yes, this is exactly what I tried to do.  And it seemed to work, but the problem is that I need to attach these parameters that I have created to a label on the title block (family).  When I try to asign a parameter to the label the only choices I have to select from are the shared parameters and not the family parameters.

Also, I haven't even gotten this far yet, but I assume if I get this figured out I will have the same problem when I create my sheet index in the project.  Will I be able to select a family parameter as a field in the schedule or will I only be able to choose from the shared parameters?
