I have just upgraded to revit 2009 i have some families within the current project that i wish to edit, however unlike 2008 once you had selected a family you had the option to edit family and it would open it up for editing and then save back into project, this option seems to have gone in 2009 how is possible to edit families that are currently within my project. Thanks

What part of the process are you missing? I just imported a family into 2009, and everything appears to function properly....Have you tried doing it with another (different) family?

Hi, I think you still have the Edit Family button once you tag a family. Go back to your model and make sure you are tagging a family and not a group or you are not trying to edit a family in perspective mode. Mhans

Families that were created pre-version 5.0 I believe do not have this functionality. Unless its changed now to be a set number of releases behind the current lease before the edit family option disables...
