First, it would be nice to be able to work in 3d ALL the time.
Second, if would even nicer to be able to define a reference plane by 3 unique points. this would allow for more complex reference plane definition.
ex. i need a reference plan that is defined by 3 points that in plan are defined by a right angle triangle. each vertex point on the triangle has a different z-coordinate (oh wait.. will we ever see a coordinate system availble(meaning we can SEE it) in Revit?) Anyway, if anyone knows how to do this, i would greatly appreciate a how-to email. revit support gave it a "no can do".
