Hello,

I am just beginning to use Revit Architecutre 2009.  I went though some of the tutorials to get myself aquainted with the new format and the samples that they give to work come out fantastic.  However, When I attemted to render my own model the artificial lights do not come on, even though they are set to be on.

My current settings are:

Interior: Sun and Artificial

Sun: Sunlight from top Left

I set my daylight portals to all. And all my lights are on.  I can't figure out why its doing this but I've already wasted hours trying to figure this out.  I know that 2009 has not been out for a very long time but hopefully someone can help.

Thank You,

Jen

I would also like to add that when I click on render, and it lists teh time, number of artificial lights and number of daylight portals I get a number for the portals but no the Artificial lights.  That says 0.  Unfortunately, the sunlight does not reach the far center of the building so the artificial lights must be on.

THankyou

All the same problems here.  There are numerous other threads on this issue.   This switch to Mental Ray sounded promising and does look improved, but the results are not there.

Thanks
