I am starting a barn Conversion. I have read previous notes on stone model patterns. I have downloaded a stone pattern. But where do I put it? I have dropped it into C-Programs-RAC2009-Data. But to no avail. Anybody help please.

regards

Mark

It doesn't really matter where you put the .pat files. You can browse to any location when you make a new Fill pattern in Revit. Just make sure that you are selecting Model or Drafting pattern depending on which type you are trying to make.

Thanks. I have Cultured Stone hatch patterns when I was using Architectural Desktop. So in Revit I clicked on Settings, Fill pattern, New, custom and import from my hatch pattern folder. Most of, well I would say all of, the stone patterns are drafting patterns and not model patterns. So when in 3d the hatch patterns go askew. Any thoughts on where one could find model hatch patterns?

Thanks

Edit the 2d pattern and add the line ;%TYPE=MODEL just under the header line.

See fill in your help menu then look for "custom pattern files"
