hi,

these terrasses are constructed with a floorslab and a floorslab edge,

in elevation the floor doesnt seem to be dropping any shadow ( and the floor is active in that view, when i hide the slab-edge the floor is visible, )

what is going on here?

Kind regards,

Did you get this figured out? I'm having the same isue and can't figure out why the floor isn't casting shadows... Anyone find a resolution to this yet?

Playing around with this again, I may have something to try. Go to the sun settings and make sure that the level selected is below the slab level that you're wanting to cast the shadow. If that doesn't do it, uncheck the "ground plane at level". Both of those ended up fixing it for my situation.

You're welcome! Funny how something can stump you, then 4 months later a solution comes to you in minutes after looking at it again. So... thank you for bringing it back up, now my problem is solved as well.
