Can I get some suggestions for these balusters/newel end posts? (image 1) Client wants a twisted look.  This is the closest thing I can get it seems, but it's not a seamless twist.. it's just a few blends on top of each other.

Question two: (image 2)Any suggestions on how I can get these railings to join?  Right now I have each railing being hosted by hidden ramps (3 total). I needed to have separate ramps therefore my railings are not joining.  Thanks
