I am trying to insert roof trusses in my Revit 2008 model, what is the procedures for inserting the truss object into my model?

new here but will try answer your question..... Insert a component, load your family, drag the truss family object you just loaded into your drawing from the project browser menu and change the details in the element properties area.... hope this helps
