Has anyone had any success with scheduling building pads?

I can generate and schedule a cut from a surface topo. However, this does not tell me the volume of the pad itself. I like that I can structure a pad with say 4" capillary fill over 12" of select fill material. However I can't get a schedule of this either.

Also, the cut identified for a building pad is slightly larger than the actual geometry. For example, the pad volume is 100.00 CF, but the cut volume reported is 100.05 CF. Anyone know why Revit cuts a bit more?

Pads do not show up in site schedules or topo schedules.

I'm using Revit Structure 2009.

Thanks...
