Hi I am usinf a hand dryer downlaoded from this website.

Problem: I am putting the hand dryer family at level 0 and its working fine. The moment i placed hand dryer at Level 1, its not visible in plan but coming ok in section and elevations. I have tried all the possibilities thru visibility/graphics option.

Chances are that it is above the cut plane of the plan view.  If you want to see it, change the cut plane of the view (View Properties, View Range).  If that messes too much with the rest of your plan, you could also do a plan region.  The other thing you could do is draw some detail lines and lock them to the hand dryer above (you;d need to do an overlay or temporarily change the cut line).

Hope that helps.

Cheers.
