I've lost a massive file and but have saved incrementally over the night. There are no journal*.rfa files around. I did file a journal1064.txt file from the same time I last saved but don't know how to retrieve the info from it. Any thoughts?

Revit store the journals under c:temp on my my computer, you could try there.

You should be able to drop and drag that txt file into Revit and the project will be rebuilt from it.

A journal file is no good to you unless the project was created all in one session? Or you can retrieve every journal file for every session the file was edited...  Unlikely.

Hopefully you have some sort of backup system? as if you've deleted the file and its backups then your daily or weekly backup system is going to be your last resort...
