Hi I am working with family components and I found that for some reason I cannot delete a component from the model... When I select it, the text is 'grayed-out' and I cannot do anything with it. It is not pinned, and the box to make it editable is checked. When I select it, I cannot move it around either. Never seen this before. Not sure how I did it either. Please advise, Thanks

If this is in a family template file, then you can't delete their existing stuff (reference planes, dimensions, etc.). If you don't want something in your file, start out with a generic model of the type you need (wall based, floor based, etc.) and then go to settings->parameters/categories and choose what category you want your object to be (window, door, etc.) Now you can make the family as you want it, without any of the premade B.S.
