Ok. Here is another issue that I encountered.I have this typical spandrel window type which I assigned as a family. I added the insulation behind the glass in ‘edit family’ mode. But it doesn’t show in my overall plan, neither does hatch of insulation. Checking Visibility – done View extend option – doneLoaded into project correctly - done Everything shows in the family editor not the work plan. Any other possible solutions? Thanks so much in advance.

Not sure what you mean when you say you added insulation to the family. If this is a 3d element that you have assigned the material insulation to it, is this material defined in the project?

yes, it is 3d element , and it is assigned into the project.
