Hi! I am just trying the rendering ability in Revit. I have seen some good one on the gallery and I attempt to do likewise but the results is disastrous. Please advise. I am only using Raytrace and Sunlight.

Rendering is a process you need to think about from the start of a project. You need to set materials/solid colours you require for each element. You then need to think about where to put viewpoint and sunlight in relation to your North point Dependant on processor etc, you need to think about the best settings you can attain. We have to leave our pc rendering overnignt, and if on a network, save all your info to local pc first as it will slow down over a network. The main quality of rendering can often come down to your dpi setting. Within view properties check your render image size is at least 300, 600 is better but sometimes dependant on what you are rendering does not make a lot of difference but will slow process down. It would be easier to make specific comment if you uploaded your jpeg image into the gallery. It may be clear to others what process you may be missing out. But always start at the tutorials.
