Hi,

The project we are working on has several walls and sections of walls that will be tempered glass.  We are just using a glass wall to represent this.  The problem we are having is that in several instances when the glass attaches/joins to a regular wall the class extends through/across the regular wall.  This seems to only happen sometimes.  For the moment we have a sever instances where we just bring the glass close to another wall.  I attached some images showing what i'm talking about.  By the way we use Revit Architecture 2008.  Does anyone know what's going on?  Thanks in advance

First, I would recommend using a curtain wall system instead.  With curtain walls, you can split the wall into sections, change each section's wall type, and place mullions.

If you stick with the method you're using, use the "Wall Joins" command to clean those up.  It can get pretty frusterating with stacked walls, but you can get it if you have patience.

You can control joins by selecting the "glass wall" then right clicking on the blue dot at end of the and selecting disallow join.

The "disallow join" seems to work perfectly.  thanks.  We tried using curtain walls earlier but at some point the office decided to go with the regular glass wall route.  I can't remember the reason why exactly but it made sense at the time.  Thanks again for the help.
