I need to know if there is a way to create a unique plotstamp that differs a little bit from what Revit automatically offers. I noticed Revit has individual tags you can place that assign current date or time or file path, but nothing that would tell which network user printed the drawing. This is what I am wanting to do: I wish to create a single plot stamp that establishes in the following order - <file path and name>, <date and time>, <network user> If anyone can help me out with this I and my Drafting Manager would greatly appreciate it.

There isn't an automatic way to do this, but you can use the drawer, reviewer, or any other text field as part of your titleblock, then all you'd need to do is establish that everyone will change the "field" to their username prior to printing. Perhaps in the future we might see this ability, but I have tried, and failed (which of course doesn't mean that it isn't possible, but I couldn't concieve of any automatic way to achieve this).

Thanks Tabest, I ended up doing just as you suggested and it seems to work well enough for now.

I our office we have just started using the Revit Make Local program you can find in http://forums.augi.com/showthread.php?s=216fd3f96e758ba60748811db0ef7eb1&t=65897. On of the things it does is puts the user name in the local file. The file naming we are using is [project number]_[project name] S08_[file location], where [file location] will be "central" for the central file or your computer name for your local file (mine is tjk). The upside of this is when you put the file path parameter in your plot stamp, as long as you are plotting from a local file the computer name will be in the plot stamp.
