Anybody have ever figured out something about a wall structure acting in accordance with the principals of railing? It would really ease my work if i could put a column in a wall structure as "baluster" is in railing system, and a wall sweep profile as "rail" in railing for example. The main problem seems to be introducing walls as the main balustrade panel. I work on proposal of a fence wall surrounding a great complex, which i have circular walls and also intersections of varrying angles. So once i figure out a railing system for wall, i would simply draw the outside line scketch and thats it! i guess :-)

have you tried using the Beam system? pick the wall face as your reference plane, create a structural member the size of your column, though this will not work or curves... I created a tutorial called "Think outside the beam" http://www.revitcity.com/tutorials/think_outside_the_beam/
