Hello and greetings!

My quest is to learn revit and see if am able to use it to create site/plot plans of pre-existing commercial bldgs that are having a spray booth installed; these are auto/truck collision businesses with roll up doors and office space but most of it is set up for disassembly, prep area & the spray booth with either a chemical/water sprinkler system all of which must be on the detail drawings help me understand if this is possible with revit architecture?

I would like to thank all of your help/recomendations in advance.

if you are doing what you want with other programs, then it can be done with a BIM applications such as Revit. but now you get to add intelligent parametric manipulation of components and information.

i would start by downloading the 30 day free trail and take level one Revit beginners course from a local re-seller where they would substract part or all of the cost of the course if you decide to purchase Revit. A lot of people will say skip the Revit course and just jump. but from what i've been reading the learning curve transition shock is lessen by some formal training. but that part of Revit will vary for everyone. People here at RevitCity are always willing to help also.

Good Luck and Welcome Aboard
