Does anyone know how to dimension circle centres from gridlines or circles to circles

I've had this problem too... One workaround is drawing a really short drafting line at the center of the circle(s) and dimensioning those.

Couldn't you just go into the family and create an invisible sybolic line (or similar) and upload it to your project?
