Hi!

We are looking to create the windows shown in the photograph below.

I don't totally understand how the family editor works and would like any help with how to create all the small mullions.  Are there any online videos on how this works or any useful help files within revit?

The windows we have found on the net do not have the correct look that we are going for and we would like to be able to create a library of windows that we could use in future.  Is this possible?

Any help greatly appreciated.  Thanks very much!

Yes, it's possible you create your own library of windows, doors, etc... Edit a family of one window similar and then save but change the name to preserve the original.

Try this sites: www.revitzone.com    www.revitup.co.za and try to see Revit Help to create Families...

It's easy, good luck...

Thanks for this -

I've managed to make solid forms and add the glazing bars into the window.  Problem is i can't work out how to make them change when you change the window width.  eg if you make the window wider, they dont all stay as they were, bunched up, but equally space over the whole width like the premade ones do.

Hope this makes sense.

Cheers!! And thanks for the help so far!!
