I created a new door family from the door template. I have everything set just like I want it but when I import it into my project there are no door tags. Is this something you have to add to the family and if so how do I do it?

Tag's are separate families to doors/windows etc...
Load them separately from your annotations directory then use the tag tool to tag the untagged doors.
