I was just curious about what others use for design review.  I am just checking out the  Autodesk Design Review program which seems kind of cool, but does anyone out there use it?  At our office we are still converting our Revit projects into AutoCAD files for our engineers and consultants to work with.  Any thoughts?  What does your office do?

We are pushing the design review - dwf platform whenever we can although we don't use it much yet as a mark-up tool.  For those engineers that are not on REVIT, we like to use this to give them a 3d model they can manipulate.  (Or we do)  I think the fact that you can imbed multiple file types into this one platform is great.

Our office is starting to look at using Design Review as well. We are however having difficulties in the Design Review software opeing the DWF file Revit generates. Have either of you had this problem?

We ended up not really using the Design Review.  The few times I've exported our Revit projects to the Design Review program though I have never had any problems with it.  sorry

I use it all the time. I export the sheets for redline and import them back into revit. Very cool.. I have been using it for years. I charge more to do it other ways..

Design Review has worked great for viewing and printing.  It seems much easier to control the print size when not printing full size.  You can control the size exactly (50%) which I can't seem to do w/ Acrobat.

I did just try installing 2010 on  three different computers and all of them seem to have problems printing to a pdf.  They either take forever to print a document or fail in the middle.  Anyone having this problem or know what is happening.  I took it off and went back to 2009 and it works just fine.
