has anyone been successful with this function? It seems backwards to me. Normally I would draw property lines in True North orientation and then rotate everything to Project North to align plans with drawing sheets. But Revit asks you to start with Project North and then rotate to True North. And it doesn't rotate everything, just some objects. Right now I have settled on manually rotating everything from True North to Project North so plans will align with drawing sheets, but now the property lines are not oriented correctly. This makes any solar studies impossible. Any ideas?

Hmm. The true north/project north thing is best to be done first... IE: you start drawing as you would like to draw not by the direction of north. Then at a later stage you rotate to true north to correctly orientate the project. What i typically do is draw the site with bearings in the correct direction first. Then rotate the site to how i want to work... Then use Rotate relative to true north to relocate north back in the correct direction. I agree it is a bit backwards.
