Is there a standard filing system used to organize revit projects? Our company is trying to implement a filing system standard that will help organizes revit files as well as projects. The company is moving away from an AutoCAD based filing system and within that system we have subfolder that includes design phases. Any suggestion or comments welcome.

Thank you

We use the MasterFormat CSI standard for our Revit families.  In our project folders, we have a separate folder for Revit and include in that folder all project specific families and files.  As far as design phases go, we usually use design options until the design has been set, then transfer it all back into the main file (sometimes a pain).  Not the most efficient way of working, but its been getting the job done for us.  We also print as PDF's the project as it comes out of each design phase (from schematic to design development to construction documents) just to have a record of where the design has been.

So, to answer direct, no, there is no standard filing system.  That's one more area of working that you'll have to set up for your own office.
