How do you get back the 2' x 4' ACT System ceiling after executing the purge command? I could not find the family in the imperial library folder. Thanks for any suggestion.

I figured this: new file, create ceiling, select ceiling and save to library/save family. any better way to do this? thanks.

actually, the first question is still valid since what I figured did not work very well at the end. what type of family would you suggest on saving out the ceiling (by default it is giving me area tag)? Thanks. Post edited on 2005-03-16 15:38:38

Start a new project using your template file and open the project you purged the ceiling out of. Then use "transfer project standards" a tick ceilings... This will copy all ceiling settings back to your purged file. HTH.

I tried this with my level head bubble. It did not work. The line shows and if I click on it the boxes show checked but there is no label or bubble for my levels in sections or elevations. Is there anything else I can do to make them show up?

What Revit, what update?  Always post these numbers in your original post.

Sorry, Revit 2014 I have no idea about what update. This is our first Revit project and I purged it because there was too much stuff to find what I needed. Somehow I over-rode the level head bubbles and labels. I have tried bringing them in but it won't work. I have to make pdf's for a presentation and all my levels are missing. The line is there but the symbol and the text is gone.

I'm asking about the updates to see if you may have a program problem.  You can look at the dropdown beside the question mark, then the about... and look under the build number.  You should see update 1.  If you don't, then install that update and see if that fixes your problem.  If not, then while in your model, open a new project using a default template.  If it has the level heads, then use transfer project standards to bring them into your project.

I have nothing under the build number

When I try to bring them in from a default template i get this box

"The following Types already existing but are different. The Types from the project into which you are pasting will be used.

Levels: Level: 1/4" Head"

When i click close and bring it in there is nothing but a line. the bubble boxes are checked but nothing shows up.

Would it be best to open a new project and just copy everything into it or can you do that in Revit?
