is there a way to make columns placed on a wall surface cleanup or wrap corners? there are two areas of the model i'm having problems with. one is an odd existing angle and the other is a 90 degree corner. images 1-3 show these conditions. the 4th image is another problem i'm having. as you can see the highlighted colum is adopting the material from the CMU. i want it to be adopting the material from the brick like all of the rest of the columns. how do i direct it to recognize the right material? it is set to material by "catagory" right now. am i going to have to manually specify a material? thanks

You are trying to use the generic column function work as pilasters.... In most cases, that works ok but your problems are unique. Why not do these pilasters as independent thin wall sections of the brick material. Everything will clean up correctly and it will turn the corner.
