Im begining a project that has two residences on the single lot using revit 2008. I understant that it is best to create a site file and seperate residence files and link them into the site. This is my first linked project and my questions are:

1. is it best to create each residences as a model with all anotation and elevations and sections etc or do you create the model and place anotation later.

2. is it best to do elevations in each residence file or are they best done on the site file into which the residences are linked.  If you do elavtions in the indvivdual residences how do you place the ground lines when the topography is in the site file?

Any other advice would be helpful

I would do all of the documentation, views, sheets in each residence file and only link in the site.

Thanks. How does that work with the ground lines which are taken from the site topography? Is there a way to import these back into each residence?

The site model topography will show in all views it is linked to.
