ok, so i have edited my Kohler-4301 toilet family to include clearance requirements. they all work perfectly fine, but it seems that when i place a line anywhere to the left or right of any component that is already in the family, when loaded into the project, all of the toilets move; left if the line is to the right in the family, and they move right if the line is placed in the left side of the family (make sense?) i have tried changing all of the lines to NOT A REFRENCE, and changed the CENTER LEFT/RIGHT ref plane to be NOT A REFRENCE also. any ideas?

It sounds like REVIT is placing your family using the "centroid" of what is there. Do you have both an x & y plane defined that have the "Defines origin" box checked in its properties. (That is the element property of the reference plane)
