Have a look at this one. Very tidy, compact and powerful. I like the way you can edit catalogues on the fly. Also other useful features. At the moment they have dropped the $$$ for this software.http://www.familit.com/

I noticed on the forum that you had some issues with Vista.   I've downloaded it for trial, but are you completely satisfied that its stable on XP?

Have been working with writers of this software and have resolved my vista issues (had no image files in some of my personal families which Vista did not like) and now everything works great. On XP program is fine. I have tried most of these types of programs, and feel this one is by far the easiest use and best for me personally. I really like the way you can add to and remove from catalogues (updates catalogue file) from with in program, also you can reduce the UI to be quite small taking less screen space.Edited on: Sat, Mar 15, 2008 at 7:36:11 PMEdited on: Sat, Mar 15, 2008 at 7:37:12 PM

Familit - This website no longer exists. However the majority of families from that website are available on the following website: https://measuredsurvey365.co.uk/category/revit-families/
