How can I put the slope angle in a roof schedule(I want this to appear automatic from the element properties)?  I need this because I want the real roof area and not the projected roof area when I draw a roof with a slope. Does someone have an idea about this problem? I can't make a shared parameter of the slope angle I find in the roof element properties.

I would love to knwo how to do this as well.

We tried to create an Area plan and select the roof slope as our plane.  But when we drew the area boundary it didn't work, and still gave us projected area, not actual area, on face of roof.  ANyone know how to do this?  Thanks,

the area that is shown in the roof properties is the actual roof area. I have played with this a few. do a simple roof then put a filled region over it. have a look at the filled region area compared to the roof area.

It seems like the real roof area is what is given in the roof's element properties.  Others agree?
