Can you clarify for me what you mean, by fixing, do you want to customize it to your office standard? if you mean just switching it from left to right threre is a box that you check to change the datum lines and labels from one side to another.

Select the level, in elevation or section, go to properties, click edit/new then swap bubble at end 1 & 2 around as required... This will change all levels of this type. If this is you office standard, edit your template file and do it there to have it occur in all future projects. HTH.

Thanks for your help guys but I think I will clarify my problem. at the moment the level right hand side (defult) reads: First Floor RL 00.00 but when I switch it to left hand side, it reads First Floor 00.00 RL obously the variable being the level & floor level but RL is a constant, it is the position when I switch to left hand side the RL letters appear after the variable level ie; 100.00 RL Help please Thanks

Okay I get you now, You'll need to create another level head for the left hand side. Open the appropriate level head family and shift the RL to be where you want it to be in relation to the elevation label. You will probably have to slide the elevation label over as well. Save with a different name. Then load this back into the project. Select one of your levels with the left aligned text, goto properties--> Edit/New-->Duplicate then give a name and change the level head to your new amended level head with the bubble default at the appropriate side. HTH.
