When I add a window in my project and put it into a wall there appear two errors

the first:

Can't make type "Window-3".

the second:

None of the created elements are visible in Floor Plan: 00 Gelijkvloers View. You may want to check the active view, its Parameters, and Visibility settings, as well as any Plan Regions and their settings.

I used this window in earlier projects without any problem. When I copy paste it from another project into my new project there is no error and when i copy it into wall i view my window but it's not a comfortable way of working.

When I put another window (e.g. window called "A"Winking into the wall and change it to this 'error'window in the element properties it changes sometimes but sometime it doesn't. I even had that I had two windows of the same family (like window A) in a wall and I changed both to this 'error'window that one window changes and the other gives an error.

Has someone an answer to this problem?

Hi fredc83

The 'cant make window' error is telling you that the family isnt working in the wall youre trying to place it in: to troubleshoot your could emulate the wall in your project in your family, when you do that the problem error should come up.

The 'none of the created...' could be many things - pretty frustrating! Try turning on the linght bulb to see hidden objects? Check the level that the window in being placed on?

Hope this helps

I thought the same but when I draw one wall and when I want to put this error window twice in the same wall (with enough space between them) I had no error with the first window and I had an error with the second window or vice versa. (and when the second works i couldn't put a third one). It's truely a very strange behaviour because I can't find any straight line in the error it looks an at random error.
