This post is more of a favor to ask. I am wondering if anyone could give me suggestions on how to go about modeling a roof system like this? We have drawn them up in CAD and I started to model them in REVIT. I used In Place Family and then used voids to ccut and trim where roofs will be joining etc. But when I go back to edit that family, it has a fatal error and won't go back into the family? Can anyone give me suggestions/recommendations on how to construct this? I want to know the best way to model/join these roofs to allow for future changes. If I use the void by extrusion tool in the family, after I get out of the family and try to go back into it, that's when I get errors galore! PLMK Thanks so much, Lorne PS- REF: picture attached
