Hi, my name is Ben Reynolds, and I’m an architecture IV student at Harper Creek High School. I was wondering if someone could show me an example of a joined wall section like you would use in a duplex. It's kind of a new concept to me and any help would be appreciated.

Thanks, Ben

Hi Ben,
I have attached a snap shot of how I do a duplex 'parti' wall. It is really two seperate fire resistant walls with a 1" air space. The fire resitant walls have 2 layers of Type 'X' drywall and studs at 16" o.c. See attached images. You should probably look into www.CADclips.com . There are lots of free and reasonably priced video tutorials for REVIT.
