Revit Architecture 2008

I am trying to create a door / window tag that is similar to the one we use in ACAD. I have attached an image of the note we are using. The first number (2) represents the width of the door in feet, and the superscript number (Shadey represents the inches. In my attached file then, I have a door/window that is 2'-8" wide; the other half of the image represents the height. I have tried creating my own tag, but I can't seem to find a way to get the inches right. Upon insertion, the tag reads 2'-32". Is there a formula that can divide the total width of the door in inches by 12 and use the quotient (2) and remainder (Shadey as the elements of the tag?Can anyone help please? Thanks in advance.

Was your tag parametric in AutoCAD?  If not, and you want the same look, you can do the same thing here.

There are limitations to REVIT but the parametrics and coordination are the great advantages.  I suggest you find a way to use that to your advantage ... even if you have to change the way you did things in AutoCAD.

BTW .... A really clever family builder might find a way to do an array within the family and do this but I think this is one of those places where you are better off to change your standards.
