I am building a wall based families that I want to have a default length equel to the wall hosting it. I am using an instance shared parameter to count these pieces, but the defalt length is just a lie. I can't controle defaults for these instance parameters after I have changed a few instances. It is only the default for the first instance?, Not even consistently.

These would be better if i could use wall sweeps, but can't place them from floor plan, or in a wall type but can't see 18 gage thick sweep and can't figure how to add symbolick lines to a wall sweep, then count linier feet of these sweeps.
