Regarding hatches; is there a way to import 2 or more hatch schemes into one?  I would like to have in my cut pattern a concrete hatch as well as lines spaced @ 14'-0"... In my current solution I keep my concrete hatch in the cut pattern and overlay a filled region for the panels.  Problem is that the way I'm currently doing it interferes with my line weights (not a ton, but I'm anal).  I know there was a prev. thread of this, but it does not explain whether a combined hatch was made in a txt program. Thanks.

Patterns can be defined as text files as described in the example pattern collection file named revit.pat. Search for that file and copy the file to (say) MYPATS.PAT to work on - the actual name doesn't really matter but .PAT works well as a  filename extension. Open MYPAT.PAT it with a text editor such as Notepad or PSPad and read the descriptive information in at the top of the file.

To extract the concrete pattern, delete everything above the line

    *Concrete,  Cut concrete

Then delete everthing from the next pattern name (*Earth??) to the end of the file.

Then add this line for vertical lines 14' apart

90,0,0,0,168

or this line for horizontal lines 14'apart

 0,0,0,0,168

or,, for diagonal lines,

45,0,0,0,168

etc.

This will be a ;%TYPE=DRAFTING pattern

Change the pattern name at the top of the file to whatever you want e.g.

*Concrete14, Concrete with 14' lines

Save the file and load it to Revit via Settings>Fill Pattern dialog
