When I want to hide an element in a view, the quickest way I've found to do so is to right click- hide in view-element. Works great...however, if I ever need it to come back into view, how do I find it?? Simple but this drives me crazy constantly.

You are talking 2008. Click on the lightbulb, find the element - right click and unhide in view.

"You are talking 2008. Click on the lightbulb, find the element - right click and unhide in view." that would be the light bulb icon (Reveal Mode) on the "View Control Bar" at the bottom of the view
