So I am finally working an a building that will be segments onto multiple sheets and I would like to use the view reference to show what sheet the adjacent segments are on. But everytime that I place them they all point to the same sheet.

How do I get 2 adjacent View References to reference different views and show up on multiple views? Basically I want something like what is attached but functional.

Thanks

Nick

NKramer,

You might want to play with this in a test project.

- Create an overall plan

- From that plan, create a dependent view

- Create your match line

- Crop your base sheet to one of the view you want and place it on sheet 1

- Crop the dependent view to the other half and place that on sheet 2

- When you tag the match line on sheet , it will refer to sheet 2  (tag must be loaded and on)

- When you tag the match line on sheet 2, it will refer to sheet 1. (tag must be loaded and on)

I totaly missed this before, but there is a "Target View" menu where you can choose your target view. At least this works for dependant views, but I'm not sure where else you would use view refences.
